This book contains 100 stories (in song form) about the sea and seafaring.
The book is particularly suitable for singing youth groups and recreational choirs, containing work songs from the days of sailing ships, internationally known folk songs and more recent songs. All songs have sheet music and guitar chords.
The book, published in 2021 by Spurbuch Verlag, is a collaboration between my father and me. It was his lockdown project to collect maritime-themed song, and I soon found myself involved. I researched, illustrated, designed, edited and proof-read the book.
Besides the front cover (which features cameos of my dad, me, and the family dog), there are also chapter and spot illustrations.
